Both of these banners were created in conjunction with the City of Calgary while receiving art direction from one of their creative directors as well as their parks department.
The posters themselves were made with the theme of land management and I decided to focus on one of Canada’s most popular and arguably beautiful areas, Lake Moraine situated within Banff National Park.
The images were painted and overlayed with both a maple leaf and the upcoming logo for Canada’s 150th anniversary with special care taken to the saturation of the posters as the material they were being printed on bleaches under direct sunlight.
Alberta Beer Week Coasters + T-shirts
The following pieces of collateral were produced for Oktoberfest under the direction of the Alberta Small Brewers Association in conjunction with Wild Rose Brewery and Big Rock Brewery.
The mandate set out by the Brewers Association was that each Alberta Brewery needed to be featured on both pieces of collateral. The first of which being the front side of the event coaster with the other side being shared by the AGLC and the second being their event t-shirt they planned on handing out to their beer experts. While I completed the coaster myself, the t-shirt was done by another designer and I as a team, with the other designer doing the front and I the back as well as final edits for print.

Alberta College of Art + Design Brochure + Maps
Prior to being tasked to develop the following maps, ACAD itself lacked any type of wayfinding material for students or visitors. Additionally ACAD faced a systemic issue in regards to signage marking room numbers or student services within the school which put a strain on their facilities as students and visitors were unable to find services on their own.
To alleviate the problem I met with each department within the school to provide an accurate map of each area (during a time of construction), as well as provided guide lines to pertinent departments in creating consistent language for rooms and room numbers across all departments.
Black and White Castle
Samples of easy to use poster templates created for the Alberta College of Art + Design used to advertise internal departments as well as events hosted at the school for use by staff for print and web.
3D modelled objects created from orthographic drawings within an environment with an accompanying matte painting overtop of the 3D models creating an environment.

This poster was created as a way of commemorating the construction of ACAD’s Lodgepole Center, an indigenous gathering space. The space, as well as the poster was made in conjunction with Suncor Energy and the government of Alberta; the poster itself is now a permanent piece of signage outside of the Center.
For this poster’s design I chose to focus on the brush stroke texture inside the current logo of the Center as well as the traditional borders of the North American Indigenous peoples, which was an element of the Center itself as the College is built on Treaty 7 land.
